Join us on our walk around our neighborhood?

We ventured out for a winter nature walk.

I love the birches in this area. Their bark really stands out…and has eyes!

Sure glad we got in that walk since we’re in a blizzard this weekend!

Tori got a little rock set for Christmas and we’re going to explore that since all our rocks are under billows of snow right now.

Wonderful walk photos! Love the display box! That would be fun too for chalk pastels. I love the colors on the white snow with the baren trees. Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful post! I love the images especially the rosehips. The box from Hobby Lobby is perfect too. Wish we had Hobby Lobby here…that would be a great addition to my nature table display (going to Pin it so I can remember to ask my Texas friend if she can get me one).

Thanks! I love roses. Even in winter. We didn’t have Hobby Lobby for years. I love it now.

We’ve done several winter hikes, too. It’s more challenging in the snow on various levels. I found just this week that the kids just wanted to play in the snow instead of walking! :-) They stopped in the middle of the tracks on the trail to make some and couldn’t resist snowball fights. Play is good!
