We so totally love this app, Table Tots, that I really just cannot express it in words.
On the far right, there are tabs where you can use different sorting tables for pattern sorting with either numbers, letters, shapes, or things. It’s very Montessori in its setup, and we love that around here!
I set the app for Katie with 3 mats and math symbols with numbers.
Then she showed Dad “the cool math stuff.” Then they did a pattern table with letters and things.
I showed them how to use A and B to set up different patterns with two things. Katie got tickled when she used airplanes and balls for the pattern. A for airplane and B for ball!
Alex loved Alpha Tots and Tally Tots.
My husband thought the 3-D italics of the numbers and letters tabs was weird. He also didn’t like the style of the Jj and lowercase l. I don’t think Alex minded though.
His favorite letter is “O.”
He just plops down in the middle of folding laundry to play.
He loves the airplane and different things for each letter. It took us a while to figure out to switch from a letter or number to a different letter or number. He didn’t like to go in order, of course. You just hold down the letter you want for a couple seconds. Tots don’t have that patience!
I love how interactive this game is! I love the activities for each letter.
Overall, we really love Table Tots for its versatility and Montessori games. The Alpha Tots and Tally Tots are fun too. They’re just different enough from other similar games to make them a great addition to our apps!
