The kids and I reviewed Jesus Calling: 365 Devotions For Kids by Sarah Young.

I love the colorful cover!
The deluxe edition is really beautifully made and great for kids of all ages, boys and girls. Not too cutesy or girly. We read it every morning at breakfast time. (I have a dotty piece of paper for a bookmark and notes.)
It’s a daily devotional for kids that only takes a few minutes and lists a couple Bible verses to follow up on the lesson.
This book isn’t dumbed down for kids. It’s relevant for children. It has little 1-page lessons that are just enough for young children to pay attention.
We enjoyed reading through it.
About the book:

*Now available in a beautiful leathersoft package
*Written in kid-friendly language

*Deluxe package makes this a perfect keepsake or gift for special occasions
(I also just saw a big stack of these at Sam’s over the weekend.)

There’s also an app.

We try to do devotions at breakfast and dinner. My 4 yr old WANTS to hear from God so badly – she gets frustrated sometimes and says he is not talking! But we have been teaching her about getting to know him through reading his word, paying attention to peace and to what’s right, and listening for a still, small voice :)
We like to do devotions in the morning before starting school.
We don’t do devotions but lunch time would be the best for us!
Thanks for the chance to win this, if I win it I will give it to my little niece, her Mom lost her job and their not going to have a Christmas!!!
We aren’t in the habit of doing devotions but breakfast sounds like the perfect place to start! Thanks for this giveaway! I have an almost 7 year old and a 9 year old, both boys. This would be a wonderful way to start listening for God’s voice!
We like the morning
before bed :)

I haven’t yet started daily devotions with my children because of their age, but would love to get started. This looks like a perfect resource for that.
We usually do our Bible study (which includes devotions) either mid morning or at the end of our school day. As a homeschooling family, we have some flexibility. I also encourage my children to pray and listen to God speaking to them.
We usually do devotions in the morning to help start our day. Thanks!
We try and do devotions/bible reading before bedtime.
