Winter is the perfect time for warm and filling soups.
January is National Soup Month!
These recipes are great for busy weeknights or using up leftovers.
With a salad and homemade bread, these soups are perfect on cold and dreary winter evenings.
They freeze beautifully and are welcome staples at potlucks. They’re great for lunches the next day too!

Our favorite soups:
- Ham and Bean Soup
- Creamed Veggie Soup
- Vegetable Hamburger Soup
- Dill Chicken Soup
- Cheesy Potato Soup
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Zuppa Toscana
- Cockaleekie Soup
What’s your favorite soup?

I love the idea of the cheese and potato one. Perfect winter warming comfort food. #TwinklyTuesday
Jennifer, this is great! Someone “gifted” me some leeks this week and I was wanting some great soup recipes to use them in. Now, if we can just get some cooler weather here in Atlanta. IT WAS 75 TODAY!!! It’s February still, right?
Thanks for linking up at InstaEncouragements!
I LOVE leeks! You could make cockaleekie soup and serve it cold if it’s warm out. I’m from Atlanta and my parents are still near there. I miss the warm.
I love soup. I’m pinning this so I can try some of these. Have a great day in the Lord.
Thanks for sharing all of these delicious looking soups!
My husband makes a knock off of the Oliver Garden Zuppa Tuscana and it is sooo good!
These all sound great! The dill chicken soup reminds me of my dear Ukranian friend’s dill chicken barley soup that she always made every winter. Perfect for these cold months!
Is there anything better than fresh, hot soup in the winter?! I don’t think so. Thanks so much for sharing these recipes with us at Encouraging Hearts and Home. Pinned.
I love all kinds of soup, but I especially like French Onion Soup or a good tomato soup. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely comfort food with the Hearth and Soul Link Party, Jen. Pinning and sharing. Have a lovely weekend!
I love the tomato bisque they serve at a local restaurant. I love going to the early bird dinner because they give you a bowl before your meal. – Margy
Definitely pinning to try some of these! Thanks for sharing and linking up #TwinklyTuesday

Great recipes Jennifer! My favorite soup is chicken & vegetable soup & a close second is Pumpkin soup with a dob of sour cream & chives!

Oh, I do love pumpkin or squash soup! Also asparagus soup.
My current favorite soup (because it changes) is a chicken chilli. But tonight I am making chicken sweet potato orzo soup.
