I am pleased to review Grapevine Bible Studies curriculum: The Birth of Jesus. My kids love this study!

Alex is really loving the new Traceable Grapevine Studies that he can do along with his sisters!

I use the Multi-Level with the girls and we can study as deeply as we wish. We typically do one page each day, with review and narration before a new lesson.

Here’s the teacher guide that shows me what to draw, which colors, and what to read for each lesson. Review questions help us remember what we learn. There are four lessons, with timelines, Scripture, stick figuring, maps, review questions.

The girls really love the review page at the end of each week where they draw their favorite scene from our lessons.

So, here’s the board where I drew the genealogy of Jesus and the angel coming to tell Mary the news.

Alex loved finding the right colored pencils and tracing his page!

He very much was impressed with David’s crown.

He really concentrated on the details.

Tori and Kate drew their stick figures like the ones I drew on the board.

Tori likes to stay organized with her tray and folder.

How do you learn about Jesus at Christmas time?

We do several different Advent countdown calendars from chocolate ones, to ornament ones, to one my mother made for us when we were kids, to Lego ones.

How fun to do a study on the birth of Jesus during the month of December. Last year we did a Jesse Tree for the first time, and we focused on the birth and life of Jesus the whole month. It was wonderful.

The concept of stick-figuring through the bible seems like a fun tool to get God’s Word in our children’s hearts. Thanks for running this giveaway!

I need to do an Advent this year, we have never done one and I would like to change that. I also want to start using GrapeVine with my kids, I think they would love to start with this one!

We usually do homemade advent calendars. I like being able to personalize what goes inside the box. Grapevine would be such a great addition!

We haven’t begun any advent traditions yet since my oldest is only 3. We got our own nativity set and will begin reading the Christmas story on advent.
