Update on Alex and Tot school or preschool…
We’ve continued to do some lessons through the summer, but it has been delight-driven and child-led. Alex is so young and I’ve followed his lead, which often means dropping whatever I’m doing whenever he tells me, “I want to do my school work, Mom.”
He is absolutely LOVING Raising Rock Stars Preschool. We try to do a letter each week, but between outings and vacations and other activities, we sometimes get behind. We’re on L next week. I’d like to be ready to begin all over again soon with some new books, but we’re just not going to be able to until we’re done.
Of course, he loves the Target $1 spot books.
He’s never expressed much interest in coloring until recently. He completed about half this workbook before he was “done.” Impressed!
Kate and Ziggy read to Alex out of Doodling Dragons.
The kids and I had the fantastic opportunity to visit the KBYU PBS station for a local blogger lunch and learn. They had lots of great toys for the kids to play with while the bloggers chatted with the station manager and the social media manager. Alex loves cars!
I love these Ready to Learn video parenting workshops!
We got a tour of the station and saw so many fun things about how TV works.
Look! Alex and I are in front of a green screen!
Mirrors are cool! Alex wanted to climb in the makeup chair.
We’ve had a great summer. My little boy is growing up!
Look for a fun review soon on Logic of English Foundations A!
