I loved Show and Tell when I was in school. There was something so exciting about it. I guess I loved to brag. I was very shy and that gave me a time to shine that was “allowed.”
It was so difficult to choose just a few ornaments to share. I have so many that are special to me.
We bought this ornament in Maui our last Christmas living in Hawaii. It has three whales and two dolphins to represent our family members. (I was pregnant with Alex at the time.) The artist wrote at the base by the jewel: “Aloha! Lambert Ohana Maui 2009.” “Ohana” means “family” in Hawaiian.
I have five ornaments that belonged to my dad’s maternal grandmother. I haven’t put them on our tree before. This year, the kids were excited to see them. This one was a favorite. They are all hand-painted glass balls.
This is my husband’s and my first Christmas ornament. Not one I would have chosen for our wedding ornament, but he loved it.
This was our precious kitty, Seamus’, ornament. He passed away last December at only seven years old. We miss him. He was such a good boy.
